I’m a new Mom in my mid thirties who got stuck when it came time to feed my little one solids. Your baby grows more rapidly in its first year than at any other time in its life, so how you feed your baby in its first year is one of the most important decisions you will make.
Suddenly everything was important; allergens, good fats, teething, vegetables and rashes. A simple look in my pantry turned into a potential nightmare, and I didn’t want to depend wholly on jarred baby food.
“I was worried about what food I could safely give my little one”
In doing my research online I found the information I was looking for to be haphazard and widespread so I wanted to put it all in one place for mom’s and dad’s like me. Separating the information into straightforward categories to help you find what you’re looking for in the click of a mouse rather than skipping from page to page online.
There are so many interesting facts out there about baby foods, especially the development of their pallet. There are new reports I am currently reading that caution us against giving babies such a bland diet in their first year. It’s interesting in that it implies we are creating a generation of fussy eaters. Look out for more article posts on spicing up your baby’s diet coming soon.
Being a Mom is a job I love, and watching my baby experiment with new tastes and textures is a joy. Actually, its a joy when it’s not spread over my kitchen floor and walls (my little one’s latest game). Writing this blog gives me a chance to share my little one’s journey; we had an incident with a rash after eating watermelon and have had our share of constipation woes.
So welcome to my blog, I hope that you find the contents useful and if there’s anything you’d like to know more of please visit my contact page and let me know. I look forward to sharing my journey with you all,
